The conference draws up to 2000 music educators (in-service, retired and collegiate), 890 All-State high school students (juniors & seniors), 2000+ music parents and several hundred members of groups performing at the conference. We typically have up to 150 booths in the convention center that represent all phases of music education as well as many colleges from all over the country. Our All-State concert is held at the Eastman Theater. Our winter conference has been held in Rochester, NY for the past 10+ years and utilizes the Rochester Riverside Convention Center and the three adjoining hotels (Hyatt, Radisson and Rochester Plaza). Will is also a member of the first induction class of the Tri-M Music Honor Society at BH-BL High School, has been a member of the High School Concert and Symphonic Bands, and has been a member of the Jazz Ensemble all four years of high school.Welcome to the Exhibitors Section of the NYSSMA Website! Will also scored 100 on his Euphonium audition at the NYSSMA Solo Festival at Schalmont High School and participated in the 2019 Area All-State Band, Suburban Council Band, 2019 All-County Band, and 2018 Area All-State Band. Will Ziegler was accepted into the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference All-State Symphonic Band and performed in December at Eastman Theatre in Rochester, NY. Additionally, Blake served as the Alto Section Leader in the Concert Choir and has been featured in leading roles in numerous BH-BL drama productions. She also participated in the 2018 Area All-State Chorus, and is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, Concert Choir, Mixed Chorus and Select Choir, as well as the Concert and Symphonic Bands. This is the second year in a row that Blake has been in All-State, having been a member of the Conference All-State Mixed Chorus in 2018.īlake also scored 100 on her vocal audition at the NYSSMA Solo Festival at Schalmont High School, and was awarded a perfect score on her Level VI NYSSMA solo auditions for two consecutive years. Additionally, Cedric participated in the 2019 Suburban Council Band, the 2019 All-County Jazz Band, the 2018 All-County Band, the 2018 All-County Jazz Band, the 2018 New York State Band Directors Association High School Honor Band, the 2018 Suburban Council Orchestra, the 2017 Area All-State Orchestra, and the 2017 All-County Band.įurthermore, he is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, has been a member of the high school’s Jazz Ensemble for the past four years, has performed as a member of the Pit Orchestra for the past two years, has served as Trombone Section Leader in both Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble and has directed the BH-BL Jazz Combo the past two years.īlake Zardezed was accepted into the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference All-State Treble Chorus, and performed in December at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester, NY. Cedric also scored 100 on his Trombone auditions at the NYSSMA Solo Festivals in Schalmont and Shenendehowa High Schools, which which earned him alternate status to the All-State Jazz Ensemble. As such, the students were also recognized publicly with proclamations by the BH-BL Board of Education at its Janumeeting.Ĭedric Sirianni was accepted into the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference All-State Symphonic Band, and performed in December at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester, NY.
